What’s the best change you made to the place you live?
I suppose this will have to pertain to my current living quarters, and not the house I sold in April.
The best change I made to the space was to bust out a comforter I’d been saving for my new bed. A bed that doesn’t exist for a house that I don’t own. Yeah. But I hadn’t realized we’d be living in the temporary digs for quite this long, and all of our heavy blankets are in storage. So instead of freezing to death every night, I pulled out the new comforter.
I think it’s so pretty. It’s warm and practical. But mostly it makes our (lumpy, left over from college) bed look like a grown up bed. And because my bedroom is also my office, I spend a lot of time looking at the bed. And now it makes me feel like someday I’ll be spreading it out on a real bed, in our bright bedroom, with no computers, and lots of pretty colors.
